This jacket really is the ultimate in winter coats for babies. It’s available for babies up to the age of 18 months. As a mother, what struck me first was the thought that had gone into the jacket to make life as easy as possible while your baby is wearing it. This is so important. Very often baby coats can be so bulky and involve having to take the coat on and off to carry out tasks such as diaper changing or traveling in a car. This is not the case with the Baby Bunny Bunting jacket. The coat is like an all-in-one so baby’s feet are also inside. It was so easy to put the jacket on her. It might sound like diaper changing will be difficult as the baby’s legs are inside, but in fact it’s just the opposite.
The coat has special reverse coil locking zippers which meant they could easily be undone when needing to change a diaper. What a time saver that is, especially if baby is grumpy or hungry. Wrestling with a grumpy baby on a freezing cold day to change a diaper is not a fun experience, trust me! The next lifesaving feature is a seat-belt pass through for car seats. It’s great. Rather than have to take the jacket off, you simply pass the belt through the coat and baby is comfortable in her car seat as well as safe and secure.follow this link!
Another feature I liked was the stretch fleece cuffs which convert into hand covers. My baby hates wearing mittens or gloves and will try her best to remove them, so these hand covers that are attached to the baby bunting jacket meant her hands stayed warm and she couldn’t get them off. I always panic about her hands in the cold weather, especially if she keeps removing her mittens, so these hand covers really gave me piece of mind. Staying on the subject of peace of mind, the jacket also has reflective panels that reflect car or bike headlamps and I thought that’s a great idea as well. My little darling might not walk about much but she does manage to wriggle and crawl to where she wants to be and knowing she is visible in her jacket also pacifies me.
Now one of the most important factors of a winter jacket, the warmth factor. I have nothing but praise for the jacket in this area. She stayed really warm, even when the temperatures were -20 and I was surprised that even her nose was warm in these temperatures. I think that’s due to the coyote fur ruff that protects the face. Another great aspect of the ruff is it’s detachable and therefore easy to clean. I found that really useful after my daughter managed to get some baby sick on the fur. I simply removed the ruff, sponged off the stain and put it back on, it was as easy as that. The goose down really seems to work and my baby didn’t seem at all uncomfortable, in fact she seemed very happy and content in her new jacket.
I also have to mention how stylish the jackets are. I bought my daughter a summit pink jacket and people would stop and comment on it. The jacket is available in a range of colors for both boys and girls and I think that the price is very reasonable when you consider how warm it will keep your baby and how easy it is to still carry out all the necessary baby tasks. I have recommended the Canada goose baby bunny bunting Jacket to all my friends and I’m hoping the jacket will still fit her next winter, but if not, I will definitely be purchasing another one.see them at http://observer.com/2014/08/the-paris-reivew-toasts-rick-perlsteins-new-book-the-invisible-bridge/.
